The Union Cabinet on Tuesday approved construction of 6-Lane Access-Controlled Capital Region Ring Road (Bhubaneswar Bypass) to ease traffic. The road, 110.875 km in length, will be built at the cost of ₹8,307.74 crore. It'll connect cities including Khordha, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Dhenkanal. "The project alignment integrates with National Highways NH-55, NH-57 and NH-655," the government said.
