The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the development of Green Field Airport at Kota-Bundi in Rajasthan at a cost of ₹1,507 crore. Spread across 440 hectares of land, the airport will feature a 3,200-metre runway, two link taxiways, and a state-of-the-art terminal building spanning 20,000 sqm. It's designed to handle 1,000 peak-hour passengers and two million passengers annually.
