The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday approved four railway projects with a total investment of ₹12,328 crore to ensure seamless and faster transportation of passengers and goods. The projects include Deshalpar-Hajipir-Luna, Vayor-Lakhpat New Line, Secunderabad-Wadi 3rd & 4th lines, Bhagalpur-Jamalpur 3rd line, and Furkating-New Tinsukia doubling.
