Calcutta High Court on Tuesday issued an interim stay on the West Bengal government's Other Backward Classes (OBC) list notification, putting a hold on all actions and processes based on the new list. The stay order will be valid until July 31. Leader of Opposition in Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari hailed the judgement and called it a "landmark verdict".
