California will now recognise Diwali as a public holiday, with the official AB 268 Bill already passed. The Hindu American Foundation shared this news on their X handle, confirming that both the Senate and Assembly have approved the move. Now, the bill only awaits the Governor's signature. The suggestion for this bill was introduced in January this year.
