Manoj Gogoi, who used to be called crazy, has rescued over 6,000 Kaziranga's stranded animals. "Working as...tourist guide, I always wanted to help wild animals in need," he stated. "After my first successful rescue in 2005, I knew I was born for this," Manoj added. Wild boars, jackals and pregnant deer are among animals rescued by Manoj till now.
