Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has requested the UN Security Council to convene an "urgent meeting" to "stop Thailand’s aggression" amid clashes between both countries. Manet stated in the letter that Thailand's actions threaten "peace and stability in the region". Earlier, one of Thailand's F-16 fighter jets had fired into Cambodia and destroyed a military target, Thai military had said.
