Help is now there for those diagnosed with hard-to-treat blood cancers, as new therapies are available to bolster the immune system by using novel engineered antibodies that handcuff cancerous cells to disease-fighting T-cells. These bispecific antibodies, not found in nature, work by connecting a cancer cell to an immune system cell or disrupting the cancer's signalling pathways.
