The Supreme Court on Thursday said judges can't claim immunity if allegations are found to have sufficient substance. The observation came as the apex court rejected Justice Yashwant Varma's plea against an in-house inquiry that found him guilty of misconduct in the cash discovery row. It added that the in-house inquiry isn't a mechanism for the removal of a judge.
