Vikrant Massey announced an acting break, but began working again on 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan' soon after. He clarified his announcement and said, "Which part...did people not understand? I mentioned in my post, there're two films I'd be working on [before break]." He added, "A lot of films were coming my way. I can't do 10 films a year...There was burnout."
