Prema Wangjom Thongdok, a UK-based Indian woman who was held at Shanghai airport for 18 hours after Chinese immigration officials refused to recognise her Indian passport, said they kept her passport and didn't let her leave. "I didn’t have access to food. Because there's no Google [in China]...I didn’t have access to information either." She added that she was mocked.
