The Bombay High Court said in a ruling that a victim of sexual assault cannot be forced to continue her unwanted pregnancy. It said that this will deprive the victim of her right to decide the "path of her life". Court said this while allowing a 12-year-old girl to abort her 28-week pregnancy despite a medical report warning against it.
