Following an unrest over denial of entry to BJP MLA Vishvaraj Singh into Udaipur City Palace, his cousin Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar warned the former against 'misusing political position and power'. "People cannot force themselves into our home," said Lakshyaraj. Vishvaraj was formally anointed as new Maharana and sought to visit family deities within the City Palace, as part of tradition.
