Highlighting the difference between appellate and review jurisdiction, and cautioning against their mix-up or overlap, the Supreme Court has clarified their distinct roles. It held that an erroneous decision cannot be reheard or corrected under review jurisdiction as per Order 47 Rule 1 of the Civil Procedure Code (CPC).
