The Supreme Court held that once the Resolution Plan is approved by CoC and the adjudicating authority, permitting claims to be reopened which were not a part of the Resolution Plan, violates Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). It said that once a Resolution Plan is duly approved, the claims shall stand frozen and will be binding on the corporate debtor.
