Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri responded to FIRs filed by members of West Bengal's Trinamool Congress (TMC) against his directorial 'The Bengal Files'. Calling out TMC's "strategy", he stated although Calcutta High Court has given stay to FIRs, more have been filed regardless. He questioned, "Why do they want to suppress our voice?...Are they against the film? Or are they against truth?"
