Canada and India are moving to restore trade ties after a two-year pause, Canadian Trade Minister Maninder Sidhu said during his visit to India on Thursday. Sidhu called talks with Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal "very productive", adding, "We focused on areas of opportunity- aerospace, AI, critical minerals, energy, agriculture." Both sides are in early discussions to restart trade negotiations.
