Canadian government has ordered Chinese surveillance camera manufacturer Hikvision to cease all operations in Canada over national security concerns. The move has been taken after multi-step review that assessed information provided by intelligence community, said Industry Minister Melanie Joly. Hikvision products' use in government departments, agencies, and crown corporations is now prohibited.
