Canada PM Mark Carney responded after a reporter asked him, "Why have you invited PM Narendra Modi to the G7 Summit?" Carney said, "The summit includes important discussions on energy security, digital future, critical minerals...There are certain countries that should be on the table for those discussions," he said. "India is the [4th largest] economy in the world," he added.
