Canada's Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) has introduced a course on Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh, that will start in 2026. The course will look at cultural, musical and diasporic relevance of Dosanjh's work and his growing impact on global stage. An assistant professor at TMU said Dosanjh's "journey embodies the intersection of culture, identity and global music entrepreneurship".
