Two locals rescued two passengers after their car was almost submerged at the flooded underpass connecting Thane district's Narivali and Uttarshiv villages, following heavy rains. The locals swam up to the vehicle with one climbing on the roof and pushing the car down, after which the passengers came out of the windows and swam towards safety.
