The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday afternoon arrested Punjab Police Ropar Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Harcharan Singh Bhullar from his office in Mohali. Sources said one more private individual was also whisked away by CBI sleuths in connection with an alleged corruption case. Senior police officials remained tightlipped about the development.
