The CBI has arrested a senior Indian Revenue Service Officer, identified as Amit Kumar Singhal, and another person, identified as Harsh Kotak, for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹25 lakhs as part payment of the total bribe of ₹45 lakh. Singhal is currently posted as Additional Director General in the Directorate of Taxpayer Services, Delhi.
