CBSE has updated its policy to allow Class 10 students who studied Basic Mathematics (code 241) to opt for Standard Mathematics (code 041) in Class 11, starting from the 2025-26 academic session. This flexibility is subject to the school's assessment of the student's aptitude. The rule stays effective until a new curriculum is adopted under NCF-SE guidelines.
