CBSE has made APAAR ID compulsory for Classes 9 to 12 from the 2026 board exams. The ID will be used for student registration, exams, and academic records. Exam and registration fees have been increased for both Indian and international students. CBSE is also setting up an AI-based learning centre to promote innovation and digital education.
