Meta told NCLAT that CCI hasn't shown how it controlled the market and prevented its rivals from accessing it. Meta claimed that CCI's entire case is based on future conduct and hypothetical scenarios. This came during the hearing of Meta's petition challenging the ₹213-crore penalty imposed by CCI over anti-competitive practices with respect to WhatsApp's 2021 privacy policy update.
