The Union Cabinet has approved Pune Metro Phase-2, extending Vanaz-Ramwadi with two new corridors; Vanaz-Chandani Chowk and Ramwadi-Wagholi. Spanning 12.75 km with 13 stations, the ₹3,626 crore project will be completed in four years. It aims to boost public transport, connect suburbs, and integrate with existing metro lines, easing traffic on Paud and Nagar Roads.
