As per reports, over 700 women from Self-help groups (SHGs) across India have been invited to New Delhi as special guests for Independence Day, but Uttar Pradesh leads with the highest representation. The 14 selected women from UP will be seen off by Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and accompanied by state officials. Their journey symbolises the success of the 'Lakhpati Didi' campaign.
