Ahead of the September 9 elections, the Centre is planning to transfer the incoming Vice President's Z-plus security cover from the Delhi Police to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), The Indian Express reported. CRPF commandos will reportedly be deployed inside the VP Enclave, while Delhi Police will retain "car passage clearance duty". No official directive has been issued yet.
