To reduce logistics cost, Ministry of Coal has envisaged a capital expenditure of ₹31,367.66 crore for the development of first mile connectivity projects to modernise coal evacuation. Under this project, the government plans to transport nearly 1,092 MTPA of coal through the first mile connectivity evacuation system by FY2030, replacing the traditional methods.
