Hyderabad’s Chai Shots is finalising a $5 million seed round led by General Catalyst and Info Edge. The OTT startup offers under-two-minute micro-dramas in regional languages for mobile users. Founded by the Chai Bisket team, it aims to launch soon, riding the short-form content boom. Funds will scale content, tech, and monetisation strategies in India’s growing bite-sized video space.
