To support the flood victims in Punjab, several councillors of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation donated their 1-month's salary. A cheque for ₹1,75,000 was handed over at the office of Municipal Commissioner Amit Kumar to Jaspreet Kaur and Gurvinder Happy, representatives of the 'Tera Hi Tera' mission run by the Shri Guru Granth Sahib Sewa Society, for the Punjab Relief Fund.
