Conversational AI like ChatGPT give lower salary advice to women and minorities than to men having the same qualifications, a new study revealed. In one case, a male applicant for senior medical position in Denver was advised by ChatGPT to ask for $400,000 salary, while a female counterpart with identical qualifications was told to seek $280,000 for the same role.
