A woman has fully recovered after a nine-hour hybrid neurosurgery at Chennai’s MGM Malar Hospital successfully removed a large brain tumour, preventing worsening paralysis and life-threatening complications. The complex procedure combined a minimally invasive endovascular technique to cut off the tumour’s blood supply with an open microsurgical procedure using a high-powered microscope.
