Delhi CM Rekha Gupta allowed Chhath Puja on Yamuna banks and announced plans to develop 17 model ghats while withdrawing past cases against devotees. She said, "We'll ensure Chhath Puja is celebrated like Diwali in Delhi." She added that each district will have model ghat with Maithili and Bhojpuri cultural programmes for devotees. Chhath will be celebrated from October 25-28.
