Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has given in-principle approval to issue an NOC for the Sammakka Sagar Project on the Godavari River. While Telangana stands to gain significantly, the project’s backwaters will extend into the Bhopalpatnam tahsil of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh.
