Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday announced a 2% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state employees. "The festival of Diwali is approaching. We are now announcing that we will provide 55% Dearness Allowance," he said. "The Government of India is giving 55% DA to their employees," CM Sai added. The government has directed its immediate implementation.
