Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of India Gyanesh Kumar's daughter Medha Roopam has been appointed the first woman District Magistrate of UP's Gautam Buddh Nagar district (which includes Noida). Roopam is a 2014 batch IAS officer and she took charge on Wednesday (30th July). Her husband Manish Bansal is also a 2014 batch IAS officer posted in Saharanpur.
