Orissa High Court rejected a request for DNA test in a property case, saying mother had already admitted who the father was. Court said, "Directing DNA test of a child on the face of admission of the mother would be an insult to her motherhood and against the law." The court said such tests shouldn’t be routine in paternity disputes.
