China on Monday said it "firmly rejects" US President Donald Trump's claim that it had violated a sweeping tariffs deal. "[Washington] has made bogus charges and unreasonably accused China of violating the consensus," the Chinese Commerce Ministry stated. "China has seriously, strictly implemented and actively upheld the consensus reached during the talks with the US in Geneva," it added.
