China has expanded a large-scale replica of Taipei government buildings at Zhurihe military base in Inner Mongolia. Satellite images show the site has grown almost three times in size since 2020, including 280-metre tunnel linking mock Presidential Office Building to Judicial Yuan. Taiwan Defence Minister Wellington Koo said Taipei has taken precautions against a possible "decapitation operation".
