China extended multiple commercial loans worth over $3.4 billion (about ₹29,000 crore) given to Pakistan, Reuters reported citing a finance ministry source. Another $1 billion from Middle Eastern commercial banks and $500 million from multilateral financing have also been received, source said. The loans are critical to increasing Pakistan's low foreign reserves, a requirement put forth by IMF.
