Amid Russia-Ukraine war, European Union (EU) President Ursula von der Leyen said that China is de facto enabling Russia's war economy and that "EU cannot accept this." She called on Beijing to "unequivocally condemn Russia's gross violation of Ukraine's sovereignty." She added that EU and China relations could further deteriorate if Beijing refuses to condemn Russia over the Ukraine conflict.
