Chinese citizen journalist Zhang Zhan has been sentenced to four more years in prison, Reporters Without Borders(RSF) said. Zhan, who reported on the early stages of COVID-19 in Wuhan, was jailed in 2020 for "picking quarrels and provoking trouble". She was released in May 2024 but detained again soon after. Friday's sentence follows her reporting on China's human rights abuses.
