China's rare earth minerals exports fell 3.4% to 5,792 metric tons in August from 5,994 metric tons in July, Reuters reported citing customs data. Meanwhile, the exports surged 23% YoY from 4,723 metric tons in August last year. From January-August 2025, exports of these minerals from the world's largest producer jumped 14.5% to 44,355 metric tons from the year-ago period.
