Chinese authorities have sent notices to local companies, urging them to avoid using Nvidia H20 chips and less-advanced semiconductors, particularly for government/national security-related purposes, Bloomberg reported. This comes days after China's state media said that the H20 chips aren't safe and pose security concerns. Meanwhile, Nvidia and AMD will give US 15% of Chinese chip sales revenues.
