A Chinese man lost his left eye due to an infection caused by an insect. He killed the fly that landed on his face, causing infection to spread. According to SCMP, his eye turned red and painful. Despite medical attention, the infection didn't subside and he eventually had to have his eyeball removed. The man was diagnosed with seasonal conjunctivitis.
