Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah said no one expected that such a crowd would arrive at Chinnaswamy Stadium to celebrate RCB's win. "The stadium has a capacity of only 35,000 people, but 2-3 lakh people came," he said after 11 people were killed in the stampede. He said he won't defend the incident, and his government will not do politics over it.
