England all-rounder Chris Woakes, who suffered shoulder injury during India-England series, said he would probably opt for rehabilitation over surgery considering the Ashes. He said it takes three to four months to recover from surgery while rehabilitation requires around eight weeks. Woakes noted that while there will be a chance of a reoccurrence with rehabilitation, that's a risk worth taking.
