Amid a row over the movie, 'Phule' actor Sushil Pandey opined that cinema can never really fix or ruin a country. "I believe creative expression should have a certain level of freedom; otherwise, how will stories be told?" Pandey added. The Brahmin community has criticised the movie over caste-related terms, following which CBFC asked makers to drop the terms.
